If you are like me, you won't afford visiting Scott's every time you feel like it, but I do recommend you make a financial effort at least once and give it a try, especially if you like seafood and fish specialties. The staff was a bit snobby when I was there, but that might be just a bit of bad luck.... read more...

A charming fish restaurant that reminds me of a classical sea coastline restaurant. The decor is interesting, reminiscent of a ship's interior, but the food is fresh and delicious. The monkfish stew is incredibly savory and the scallop ceviche is incredible. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the region.... read more...

Restaurant Outlaws at the Capital

If you are a seafood fan and you haven't tried anything from Nathan Outlaw, then you don't know what you're missing. I ate at the Capital as well as his restaurant in Rock, Cornwall. The bass with asparagus and saffron is exquisite and you can literally lose yourself in the generous wine list. The best part is that the food is not as expensive as you might think. In any case, an experience that is worth the costs.... read more...

Zoilo is an amazing restaurant that combines traditional Argentinian cuisine with modern haute cuisine, making for a very interesting experience. The empanadas, with braised beef, onions and olives, and the crab on toast are simply incredible.... read more...

Very good food, delicious and juicy steaks and friendly (if somewhat slow) service. I would advise not to expect anything to fancy, just reasonable food at a reasonable price.... read more...

Casa Malevo is a typical Argentinian restaurant: delicious food (especially the beef dishes), friendly staff and good wine. Still, be sure to take into account the prices, which can be quite stiff. Overall, I would say that it is worth the investment.... read more...

Review of Richard (29 May 2014)

The food at Gaucho is incredible, but each time I ate there, I was very disoriented by the way the restaurant was arranged. You get the impression that two different restaurants have been fused together, a elegant, haute cuisine venue, and a cowboy themed fast food joint. Whatever you might think of the decor, the steaks are incredible.... read more...

Garufin is perfect if you want a perfectly cooked Argentinian steak. The beef is juicy and savory... I ate here three times, but each time I had the cuadril and the caracu (I know, not particularly imaginative), which is incredible. The ceviche is also notable...... read more...

Buenos Aires cafe has a classic design and provides a considerable number of options, especially when it comes to steaks. I started with tapas to get an idea of my options and then went on to the chorizo, which was absolutely delicious, and had a delicious cup of wine. Overall, I had a very nice time, though the staff was far to slow for my taste.... read more...
