Restaurant The Bull Steak Expert

Often, rivalry makes for very good food, and the competition between the Bull Steak Expert and Gaucho seems to be paying off. The burger I had (with mozarella, smoked bacon and onions) was juicy and savory and the steak was incredible. Definitely worth a visit if you don't mind spending a considerable sum.... read more...

I discovered the Mono Cafe when I visited Glasgow with my wife. It has a homy ambiance and the staff is very friendly. I had the nasi goreng with fried rice, pak choi, broccoli and peanuts while my wife had a pizza with garlic mushrooms, spinach and cream cheese. Overall, we had a very good time.... read more...

A perfect place for sushi and sashimi lovers. The ambiance is relaxed and the food is quite good. The best part is that traditional Japanese cuisine is served along side European dishes, making this restaurant ideal for both Asian food enthusiasts and people that are more inclined towards European cuisine. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.... read more...

I love Chotto Matte especially for the design of the restaurant, which is an interesting fusion between the traditional Japanese style and the modern urban one. The food is very good, the miso soup being especially delicious.... read more...

Generous portions of tempura, sushi platters and rice with fried vegetables... this is what I personally experienced when I ate at Sushi Say. The waiter, however, did not seem to be too knowledgeable when it comes to Japanese cuisine.... read more...

From what I understood, Sushi Tetsu is a sushi and sashimi specialized restaurant. You can tell that this relatively small, family owned restaurant invests a lot of attention to the preparation and arrangement of the food. I especially recommend this restaurant to those of you that are sushi dogmatics...... read more...

The Shiori is, in my view, the archetypal Japanese restaurant. The simplicity and elegance of the decor, coupled with the perfection of the traditional Japanese food, produces an incredible ambiance. If you do get the opportunity to visit this Japanese restaurant, then try the red beans miso soup!... read more...

I visited So with two former high school colleagues, so I might not be able to give a objective evaluation. The food was pretty good, though nothing incredible, and the sake was served generously giving all of us a sweet, warm feeling. The recipes are not fully traditional, but, not being a sushi connoisseur, I wasn't particularly offended by this. It's a pleasant place with reasonably food and friendly staff.... read more...
