The Golden Union is one of those places you go when you're hungry and you desperately need a good, hearty meal (especially if you are a fan of seafood). Do not expect anything too pretentious, just some good food at reasonable prices (try the cod with chips).... read review...

- Curiosities: The fish we have sourced for you has come from sustainable British waters. Our Cod and Haddock are direct from Peterhead in Scotland fished by Scottish boats who belong to the Responsible Fishing Scheme which is backed by Seafish UK. Peterhead Cod and Haddock are the freshest and finest in the North Atlantic. We also use the Ports of Grimsby and Newlyn for all our other fresh fish.
- Other information: Our supplier, Joe, hand-picks our chipping potatoes for us every week. We only use Grade One potatoes, from the best of British farms right here in the East of England.
